Alternative Family Living (AFL) is a residential support service in which an individual lives in a private family home with a caregiver who provides ongoing supervision, assistance, and support. Services are individualized to promote independence, community participation, personal choice, daily living skills, and overall quality of life while maintaining a safe and supportive home environment.

Trained staff provide supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, medication routines as applicable, household responsibilities, community participation, and development of independent living skills. The goal is to provide a safe, person-centered environment that promotes dignity, choice, independence, and community integration.

Supports may include assistance with accessing community resources, building social relationships, participating in recreational and educational activities, developing life skills, and pursuing personal interests and goals.
Supportive Employment services assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining meaningful, competitive employment based on their interests, abilities, and career goals. Services may include employment planning, job development, job coaching, workplace skill development, employer coordination, and ongoing support designed to help the individual achieve and maintain successful employment.
Individualized Tailored Supports (ITS) provide person-centered assistance designed to help individuals develop and maintain greater independence, participate in their communities, and achieve their personal goals. Supports are tailored to the individual's needs, preferences, abilities, and service plan and may include assistance with daily living skills, community participation, social development, decision-making, and other activities that promote independence and quality of life.
